Emerging leaders falling down

Tomorrow I have to give a 30 minute presentation about myself. I've been talking about this a lot because I've been dreading it a lot more. Overall it seems really nice to be able to sum up my college experience and present my learnings to people. People who then will judge my presentation and tell me if I meet their expectations.

What I'm dreading is the fact that there is supposed to be some over-arching theme going on, showing how I've really developed as a person. Yes, I've grown as a person, no there is no theme to it. So unlike everyone and their mother who gives this presentation I can't demonstrate how my past experiences are shaping my future. I don't have some awesome internship lined up for the summer. I'm not single handedly saving the world with some organization that I started. I've actually become less focused and I don't know even more what I want to do with my life.

This silly presentation has single-handedly made me feel bad about myself and my lack of direction.

In Carlson speak, I think that means my future is "flexible."
