The Kwik-E-Mart in Ballyshannon, also known as the Tara Grocery was robbed by an armed gang last Thursday. It's quite likely they were from Northern Ireland. It's strange how they'd chose to rob the Tara Grocery since nobody really shops there except kids buying sweets and a litre of milk or something.
The democrats will have a presidential debate on Nov. 15th on CNN. We should watch so that an informed decision can be made and then VOTE!
There was a day when the United States was thought of as a leader in human rights and democracy. Recently we have invaded Iraq and stayed, thrown out the Geneva Convention standards on treatment of prisoners of war and consider wiretapping of US citizens as acceptable. We need to find a leader that can not only restore the good name to America but also bring the differing factions in the world together without trying to force the Bushisms of religion and world dominance. Also, it would help if our new leader did not lie.
P.S. I also don't care that Boston won the world series, I don't care that Hallie Berry made a remark on TV that might be considered as offensive, however I do care about Dancing with the Stars...Please vote for Helio Castroneves! A very nice guy who is honest and represents his career field (race car driver) in an excellent manner. By the way, he is also a good dancer!
